So when I got on CS: GO and hopped on the surf server, I was very happy that they finally reset surf. But then when I checked everything out I realized they did nothing but reset it. So I got a list on somethings Y'all can change.
1. The Air Acceleration: Right now it is standing at 150. With the aa at 150, it makes everything seem very slow and hard to maneuver for beginners. After being on tons of different surf servers and getting somewhat good 150 is ok, but new people will get caught up so I mess around with it and tweak it.
2. Zones: I'm going, to be honest, the zoning is terrible. The start zones on some maps are ground zones which means as soon as you jump, the time starts. It should be a box. Also with the end zones. On every map I've played so far, the end zones are also ground zones which means you need to land on the ground to finish the map, which seems good on paper, but in reality, stinks. On even the servers that create the World Records, they have box zones. What this is, is creating a zone, like a box, if you do this, I suggest making it pretty high. Now you might think this means people can shoot to the sky and still get an amazing time. Wrong. No matter what you will still get a better time if you hit the ground very fast instead of going extremely high.
3. Pre-strafing: At the moment, pre-strafing isn't a thing which makes doing some maps very hard. Considering on some of the maps you need to clear bigger areas from your starting jump and not being able to get that extra speed can make or break getting to the ramp.
Now, I'm not saying that the server isn't fun nor am I trying to hate. But after playing surf for about 2,000 hours and hopping on 100s of servers, I just wanted to put my input in on how I think it could be better.
