Fellow fans of Heavy Metal,

After several years and a couple thousand hours of running at extreme temperatures my video card finally decided to give it up. (I'm pretty sure I heard a resigned quote like, "So this is hell, huh?" from the desktop just before it went all black screen on me.)

Since Christmas is not about me, I don't think I'll be replacing it before the New Year. Your patience is appreciated until I can see you on the battlefield again.

I have a GTX570 available. If you don't a have 4k monitor, it plays BFBC2 above 70-80 fps on max settings. Let me know if you want it. Just pay shipping.

I am also in Utah and will be making a trip down to Provo/Orem area soon. If you will be in that area, let me know. I will give it to you for free.
 
Alas; my daughter has moved from Provo back to San Diego, and my excuses for traveling to Utah have largely disappeared. However, I'll DM you.

(BTW, if you're traveling the 15 between AZ and Provo the best hot chocolate in the world is at Timberline Inn, in Beaver.)
