Funny times first: I was on the map with the big bridge as the center piece on my PS4 (I don't remember names of maps, more on that below) and I guess I loaded in a bit after the round started. Try-hard-Mc-Bomber (not actual name, but I think keeping his identity anonymous would be nice) had a 20 - 0 streak going. Low and behold, he had just caught sight of 90% of my team all in a big blob. Thank goodness Anti-air works better than BF1. Knocked him out of the sky, and thought that would be the end of it. Nope, the guy stops playing (does not re-spawn), and then sends me a PM on PS4 calling me a scrub and to get gud. I just laughed, because he rage quit out of the game 3 minutes later.

On the salty part: I WANT spotting back! Either that, or give more muzzle flash on the enemy character models (and flash around the barrel area in the environment). I get that people like the "realism" of not spotting unless you are a scout...but at least make sure that there is a way to balance the max rank dude who sits in a corner of the map all round just killing people as they walk by because he is nearly invisible with only his head showing (but head-glitching has TOTALLY been fixed)...and never leaves the spot because he's support. I'm not asking for BF1 spotting periscope outlines on the enemies, but a red icon larger than a pin-prick or pixel above an enemy spotted by sniper scope would be nice. Also, please...fix the default grenades being unable to kill a butterfly let alone a soldier who sits right on top of one.

That's great! I love it when pilots get all salty when you shoot them down with AA. This is coming from a guy who likes to pilot as well.

I mean the AA is there for a reason. Why on earth would I let you continue to own me and my team if I have a way to stop it? If I have a problem with an AA, I usually alert my team to the AA position and ask for someone to take it out. If that doesn't happen, I have to get creative.

As to the spotting, I think it has gone completely in the opposite direction. BF1 was too easy when it came to spotting. BF4 was probably a good option with spotting. A triangle above the head. This system is indeed probably a bit more realistic, but for those that used spotting well it sucks I agree.

I still dont understand how the TTK was complained about. I think it's still slower than BF4 right?

So, I don't know how it goes on PC, but PS4 at least seems to lump people from around the globe on servers together when doing the "join game" button (because there are no rental servers). As such, I get 1 frame killed by someone with a Sten at mid range (without a headshot, while at full health).

Also, it's not my connection as I have the "display connection" option enabled and at least I'm always green.

PC is about the same, but you can see peoples pings on the scoreboard. I usually try to pay attention to the corner areas a little more nowadays. With the TTK being lowered again if they see you first you are pretty much dead before you turn around.

AA is WAY OP. Also, the fact they can stay in the uncap is crap too.

My issue with planes (and why I am OK with AA at the moment) is that a plane can re-supply from their side of the map AND the enemy side of the map.

The AA can resupply from spawn, which they don't need to leave...

Ummm...I was talking about the fixed AA in the uncap areas...not the AA tanks which admittedly are kind of OP against everything, not just planes. I was on a map the other day where a German AA tank wrecked 2 different full health Crocodiles...yeah, it was not a fun game.
