Counter-Strike: Global Offensive New Player

I have a friend that is recently getting into counter-strike. I'm trying to teach him but there are simple things that are second nature to me that I forget about.

What advice/tips would you give a new player?

1. AIM AT HEAD-LEVEL NOT AT THE FLOO

2. Always warmup before playing competitive if you want to actually rank up. (1-2 deathmatches to practice multiple weapons)

3. Ignore the toxic players that say you're bad when you first start, it will get to you if you don't.


4. MOST IMPORTANT OF THEM ALL MAKE SURE THAT YOU PLAY THE CS:GO TTT AND JB SERVERS

Pull your knife out at the start of the round because you move faster that way.
Aim at place on the screen you know people like to sit before you peek so you have minimal mouse movement to kill them.

Honestly, just practice. Don't feel bad if you are bad at first, you have to play quite a bit to get good, so don't get let down if you arent amazing after an hour of play.

Practice ur 360s with scout in silver

Squrl. tell them to play bhop, surf and 1v1 servers or if he's really bad than normal comp or faceit.

USE YOUR UTILITY! Soooo many times do people buy smokes and flashes and never use them properly. They can single handedly give you the advantage no matter what gun you and your opponent have
