I'm not quite sure why this isn't allowed already. If I am ever online as a solo admin, I am virtually restricted to the T side in order to handle reports, otherwise I can't do anything that relates to logs (If somebody shot stack, I can't check to see if he freedamaged, and how much, etc) until the end of the round.
eGOs already have this ability, and I'm not sure why eGs shouldn't. Feel free to disagree with me below.
EDIT: I realise that a common counterargument will be that eGs aren't full admins yet, so it allows some newly promoted people to abuse this ability etc. My counterargument would be that if they are trusted with the ability to kick, mute, gag, swap, etc, they should be given the information to better facilitate making such decisions.
