Good morning DoD, we're in the process of cleaning up our inactive admins. We need your help to ensure active admins dont get reset in this process.

If you're still active and want to retain your admin, please jump in to Teamspeak and get a quick refresher training. This process will take less than 30 minutes.

Thanks!

That's great! If you do make it on, please reach out to anyone with an AT icon. Ask them to give you the refresher training. If you run into any problems, please get in touch with a leadership member and explain.

I'm semi active. Just started a new job which is taking up tons of my time. I'll try to get on this weekend to get readjusted.

i logged in but could not find anyone with an @

is there a particular room we should be looking to join?

I'm semi active atm but will try to and get on there in the next week or two because I'm in the middle of a visa application now.. First new house, then a move, then my mother, and now this. So basically my life has been hammered the last 4 months with real life stuff.

You may need to sit in with an AT from another source division, the class will be the same. I am busy with a newborn son in NICU and a wife recovering slowly, but if any of you are having problems getting on TS, let me know, and when things settle down I can arrange an alternate means of training.

Mm, I was active still in dods from time to time, Just keeping it clean.
But since I don't use teamspeak no more and don't play allot, I guess i'll let it pass.
+ mic is also not working properly.

Congratulations buddy! we will figure it out.. If another division can handle it then it isn't a big deal.

I would like to thank ButterLover (AT) (from the Minecraft division),
for taking some time to do the admin retraining.

It was outside of his division, but he handled it very tactfully and was very polite about the procedure.... he even offered to train me in Minecraft!! lol which was very tempting, as that was something i had just gotten into recently.

anyways, I really appreciated it. and i mention it here, just so that other of our members can know, that there are other "Admin Trainers", from other divisions who are capable, and are hopefully as eager to assist in your retraining.

It can be done relatively quickly (although thoroughly) too, by the way. so don't let time deter you from staying an admin on DOD:s servers... we should really be stressing that we want to keep our admins around... cleaning house is good, but our goal should be to have as many eGO admin as possible... so that we can continue to keep our servers clean and punk-free, and to keep better time zone coverage.

Even if you admin for just a little time a day, even a little bit... can make a huge difference, the difference between..... people leaving our servers due to hackers/spammers/punks. and so when you "do" decide to come back and play... you will be able to have the power to step in like the eGO boss you are, and stop it in its tracks.

because being eGO is more than just a "role" or having "power", its about stopping the problems, so that other gamers can continue having a pleasant experience.

so i really urge all of our DOD:S edgegamer members, to just take a few moments of their time to install teamspeak (Even if you're like me, and don't use it very often, or even have a microphone), and even if you don't play the game as often. When you "DO" have that extra time play the game, we want our admins to be able to take appropriate action.

I hope this message finds you all well.

Above all..... Have fun! For it is the reason we all play. :)
or as our dear friend london would say, "Life is meant to be lived, go live it!"

I will try to get on ASAP, I have maintained my forum account and regularly check for updates but have had little time to play recently
