^ I'm a boyfriend who took a girlfriend to "The Strangers" because she wanted to. My advice is to go, it's okay for a jumpy scary movie, but theres absolutely no plot. It's not that scary in some respects because it is a very predictable movie. Make her happy, take her along, and afterwards discuss about how next time YOU'LL choose the movie Haha.
