New Gaming Laptop

So I'm always on the go and have no time/will to build a new PC. So does anyone have any suggestions for a new Gaming Laptop, maybe? Like brand and stuff?

Make sure its not some sh*t from a local store! Used to have a laptop like that, it was soo bad. Back then I used to play minecraft and I had 60 fps lol. Then after like 2 years it stopped working, the CPU just randomnly stopped working. I wasn't going to buy a CPU for a stupid laptop so I bought a new PC. It was on my communion and I SOMEHOW got like 1200?, spent it all. I bought a laptop, tablet and I don't know what else. Now that stupid laptop is under my bed (Like everything else, because I don't have space).

Make sure to look at reviews, they mean a lot. Both YouTube reviews and website reviews, also to help out more I need price/budget, and what games you want to play and at what resolution.

The Acer Nitro series looks like a nice bang for your buck but I've never owned one so can't speak from experience. I have owned a Sager/Clevo gaming laptop and can say they are very good. You can customize them how you want and get them for a lot cheaper than say Alienware since you aren't paying for the brand name.

Uh, yeah this is kind of terrible advice. Buying local so you can warranty and fix it quickly sounds great to me. Also supporting local businesses and PC shops is great.

Instead of spewing nonsense, how about you suggest he educate himself on the various components of a computer so he can make a well informed and practical purchase, instead of buying some random machine off the shelf, like you did?

You have posted on tech threads many times with nonsense and complete misinformation. Please don't post if you have no clue - it isn't helpful to users. Posting for post count isn't cool.

Back on topic: Totally need a budget and an idea of what games you want to play. Republic of Gamers machines are quite good and decent bang for the buck. But, we need some more info first to help you.

I'm a similar way, and i've had my eye on the Acer Helios 300 for a while. It's one of the better ones for its price range with decent specs. the storage is a little small if you're used to a terabyte tho

Anyway.... We do need some more info.

If you want to go all out, the ROG Mothership shown at CES this year caught my eye. It has the keyboard on the bottom with the hardware underneath, and the screen with the parts because the hardware on the bottom causes a little bit of suffocation, and when the hardware is stood up, the computer can breathe.

If you want a more budget-friendly laptop, I would check out the Acer Helios 300, packing a 6gb 2016, 16 gb of ram, (Amazon doesn't tell me the clock speed, thanks Amazon!), i7-7700HQ CPU (Not bad for mobile but the gen is getting a little bit old), and a 1080p, 60hz display, which will pair easily with your 1060.

Also, I would check out micro center. Some times they have great deals, and some times they have horrible deals, you have to research.
