Counter-Strike Global Offensive Jail Server The problem with, You want an =(e)= tag?

So lately there have been people posting stuff like this in chat :

"Hey If you want a snazzy =(e)= tag add me and message me on steam! Or Feel Free to check out my profile!"

And ill admit, I do it to.. Its not the worst, IDEA. But its gotten to a point where you could probably call it chat spam or maybe even server disruption. Prisoners for half the round cannot use voice chat, so they gotta type in chat for the time being and with people putting messages like what I said above their is a higher chance of Wardens or Guards missing their messages in result their gonna send their message again and again until someone says something about it.

If everyone did their key bind once everyone 30 minutes or so this would limit the amount of chat spam..

I also thought of if we had a Server Announcement that says "Hey having fun on EGO? Why don't you join us? Contact anyone with an =(e)= tag online!" or something along those lines.

If anyone has any other thoughts on the issue let me know on the thread. Just wanted to get this outta my head.

I'm sure if it got to the point where it was filling chat up, and admin would do something about it.

I also thought of if we had a Server Announcement that says "Hey having fun on EGO? Why don't you join us? Contact anyone with an =(e)= tag online!" or something along those lines.

This is a good idea, you could even just link them to the application link.

I don't think it should be spammed to be honest. You should post it from time to time. Also why would ct's or warden need to see T's messages. I think that the message should be posted if someone new want's to join eGO. If someone plays for two days straight and they play it all day, and you can see they enjoy the server then I add them and ask them if they wan't to join.

If you really want recruits, add the person on steam and then message them through steam.

I?m in eGO not to have a ?snazzy? tag, but rather to game, talk and chill with a great group of people. Instead of boasting about the ?amazing? tag you get when joining the community why not mention the actual benefits such as events, being part of a community, great servers with great people to name a few. If I was a public player on a server and saw people putting ?You want an =(e)= tag...? in chat I would be less inclined to join. This is due to me thinking recruit numbers are all this community cares about, but in fact, in eGO player enjoyment and punk free servers are a top priority. I do find my eGO tag snazzy however, not because I seem like a cool person on a server but for what the tag represents.

if its becoming chat spam, admins need to take care of it, and tell them to stop spamming so much, but also as conot says i aggree with him more, for its true, for when i see it just going to do that, i will personlize the amount of spam of those binds, but for me i want to remove those binds it dont benefit anything, i can go to server play a while and people is asking me how i get tag i got, then i will add them and see if i want to recruit that person or not, because alot of people know me, know who i am as a player, i cant be sneaky on the server because they know im admin but also a very chill player, so just play the game, and dont spam binds, do it when you feel like it or dont do it at all, for it ruins the game of any player on ttt or jb for t's can talk with chat and dead chat can talk to eachother, so if you just want a more peaceful game stop having those binds just add them and say "Hey you wanna join eGO, for i see you alot on the server, and i think it will have fun with you in it" or something like that if he says yes link him the procces and also link him how to setup TS or Discord with maul, so he can chill on there too and have fun with each other, thats it nothing more.

Never have i saw it been spammed.Maybe like 3 people say it in chat every 20 minutes.I don't really see the issue.People are trying to get recruits.

I've have quite a few people message me asking about joining and I always send them the link to the membership app and give them An admin to communicate with. I haven't seen anyone spamming the chat log though,
