Ok, title describes the setting.
I've got my new machine up and running:
Creative Audigy X-Fi Fatality Pro
8GB OCZ DDR2-1066 Ram
eVGA 8800GT 512MB RAM
Intel C2D E8400
Asus Rampage Formula (motherboard, X48 chipset)
Corsair 620W (or 650W) power supply (HX)
Great part, it ran fine over the weekend, many hours of happy gaming!
But on Wednesday night... OH NOEZ IT CRASHED.
I was too tired, so I slept.
Now, after about 10-15 minutes in games (civilization 4 BTS and TF2 tested) the computer crashes.
I once got as far as to get a blue screen of death, and it pointed to the NVidia drivers and said "HIS FAULT"
Well crap
- Reinstalled Drivers
-Turn UAC back on (just in case...)
-Contact eVGA (waiting for reply)
what else can I do to try and resolve the crashes?
Anybody had experience with this?
I am using the most up to date drivers for Nvidia at the moment.
I do not have problems with crashing when I run linux (using nvidia drivers again there, not nv).
Thanks for all the help in advance!
