Yo!
So seems like the role assignment channel is mostly just a disaster of people explaining to others what roles are not available since people can't be bothered to read the #welcome channel.
Suggesting perhaps we have a single message in the #role-assignment channel that explains what options there are and indicate clearly that there are not channels for cs, tf2, etc. Since the bot currently deletes your message if a role is accepted, let's have the bot remove all messages from that channel besides the single one explaining the usage of the channel. So immediately after someone submits their message, it can be deleted.
Maybe the confirmation messages can be on a timer that removes them after a few seconds, so users know it went through.
I think it would save the headache of every other post in there explaining to people what they can/can't do and clean things up nicely.
Please do not reply with why you feel we need a CS/TF2 etc role/channel - topics been beaten to death already.
Might be good to toss into #welcome why we do not use Discord or have voice chat channels on it too. (Please also do not reply to this thread saying why you think we need to use Discord for voice chat, cause that topic has been beaten to death too).
