Today my grandma passed away

Man, what a ride these lasts 3 months, especially for her. I will miss her greatly. Within the last two weeks, we thought she was going to be fine. She went through major bleedings, minor and major blood clots etc. But luckily she survived all that, been in an out of the hospital, been to the intensive care unit multiple times. Survived all of that. Spent months laying in a hospital bed.

Now these lasts two weeks thing were finally going good, we all thought. She was finally leaving the hospital and going to a rehabilitation center because she lost a ton of muscle mass and couldn't walk, so she had to rebuild that and get some help. But one day, a nurse walked in, in the morning and she saw that my grandma had had another major bleeding in her stomach. She was taken to the hospital again, ICU. And she got major blood clots once again, in the lungs. She had to be put on a respiratory system because she couldn't breathe.

Well, the doctors couldn't do more for her. The blood clots were getting worse and moving up to her brain, which would give her brain damage. She didn't want any of that, so they decided to end it today. Rest in peace, Grandma.

My condolences. I can definitely relate, we lost my grandfather yesterday morning after a similar battle.
