What if I told a lie? What if I started something that would end in a train wreck in either direction? What if I told someone something to make them happy, even though it wouldn't be worth it? And after I did that, I have two choices: Come clean and tell that person the truth, inevitably making them unhappy to the point I am worried that they might do something irrational, or keep just keep going with it. I feel like I am a lifeline here, and I feel super cornered and don't know what to do. I made a big mistake and I don't know what to do.
