Battlefield V BF5: Our Anti-Cheat Approach in Battlefield V

I will believe it when I see it. What I dont understand is why EA refuses to go after one of the top three websites that are publically available that distribute, either for free or for a price, exploits for their software, which goes against their EULA. Its not like they don't have the money or the means, or even the reasons. Stop this banning for a week bullshit, make it permanent.

I'm not holding my breath, either. Took them YEARS to ban 1600Hz and their group, and this was when they posted a similar article about "taking a stance on cheaters" in BF4.

The responsibilities lie on them and solely them, since we can't remove the toxicity on the servers. We could, IF WE HAD ONE.

Always a few cheaters in each game it seems. God forbid they turned it over to server admins to police their own servers....VoteYea

It sounds like their new software is making this more obsolete though....

I hope you're being sarcastic, or joking.

Without admin input, EA's system of catching hackers is woefully inadequate. Look at games from Valve: Yes, there are quickmatch lobbies...but there are even more servers, where hackers could be caught and information passed on to Valve to put into the database for catching hackers.

Also, the following had me in stitches: "..We are however aware of the (few) potential ways to cheat on console.."

Few meaning basically anything with a USB connection that you can program...so anything with storage going from a USB stick to "controllers" (actually SSD or similar) that "tell" games that the SSD is a controller by exploiting built in data to allow for reprogramming or making new controllers for those who are handicapped or unable to use normal controllers.

Oh, Mac, PS4 never has hackers! Yeah...until you join into a server with great connection playing Twisted Steel...and somehow a tank kills you from the opposite side of one of the berms on either end of the bridge, through at least 80 feet of rock and whatnot.

They should stop letting the program out before the damned games launch, none of these games are "hacked" the damn programs are given out and have been for years, they just don't want you to know about it.
Look at BF4 they had to make an anti-cheat FOR the anti-cheat,why? because the people they gave the program to sold it and damn near ruined the game, it's all about money now, they stopped caring for the community and the community pays in the end
