Title says it all. Instead of blinding white...have a dark mode option DS members can select.

Not sure about vbulletin but it would require changing CSS values and JS for switching between light and dark mode

You can just copy the theme, change the CSS values and update the image files, then users can select it in profile settings or the drop down menu at the bottom of the site. Nothing extreme, just tedious.

Not everyone has and Android and dark mode especially #000000 saves battery for oled phones and is lighter on the eyes than a blue light filter

It's not just an Android app. It's been around for an eternity on most operating systems. Windows and OS X now have the features built into the newest operating systems.

F.lux is nice for colour temperature on your eyes, but overall a darker theme is simply more appealing looking and less harsh.

Here is a night theme I threw together around a year ago for this thread. It has some bugs (since I only made the fixes on my own version of it and never actually pushed them for others to use), but for the most part it should look fine (some lesser used pages like user post history and such may not be styled though). You need the Stylus or Stylish plugin for your browser to use it (read the linked thread for more info).

With that said, it would be better if someone actually spent more time making a nicer dark theme, since I only threw that together in around a hour if I remember correctly. My code was trash (I used !important tags in it, yuck), so if anyone else wants to make a proper theme, they should start from the ground up instead of editing mine (though feel to use mine while waiting for someone to make a better one).
