It has come to my attention, and many others, that the explosive barrels in the Counter-Strike servers are more than an object but a hatred act of God! They are distracting, powerful, flammable, and worst of all, out of place. These randomly placed barrels are a hazard to the public good and the mission of freedom. So I ask you, we must rise up! We must fight! We must BAN THE BARRELS!

those are so fun to play with in hl2:deathmatch, you get a bunch of barrels and one of those laser trip explosives and then blow it up and watch your body FLY! oh man...

i guess this is why Ive always used the rocket in DOD...
 
Wow, where did these things come from?? I just noticed them appear a day or two ago... I'm guessing Steam did it.

I don't really like them either, even though I have used them to kill people.
 
One thing I learned in any game, if you can explit it they will commence expliting.
Friendly fire is off so once they find out you can kill team mates with barrels the tk's will start to rake in.

I support this, BAN THE BARRELS! :D
 
I think they'd be fine if they weren't usable by teammates to cause damage.
 
lol... can we really ban the barrels... has any1 thought of this... and it would be good to kill snipers silently lol just put the barrel behind them and shoot it
 
Yeah, if you could make them not TK, I'd be fine with them. But anything that could be used for TK-ing needs to go.
 
ban them cause i know every once in a while youll get that punk who will shoot them when youre standing by them and thus he can tk you
 
lol well i think there awesome, especially in dust.. people just cant abuse them by tking others... and arnt these a gift from steam? no other server has these why would we throw away a gift like that?
