Short description of the problem (255 char limit)
I am unable to start a new character.

Please describe the issue in as much detail as possible.
Basically I just installed fivem along with gta v today. Joining the server, I started filling out my name and date of birth. Continuing the character creation, I started choosing a face when suddenly a player with a pink car approached me and tazed me. As a result of that I couldnt see any changes I made and pressed mouse1. The character saved, but I wasnt satisfied since I only made 1 change to him. I contacted Ark on discord, who was nice enough to help (props to him I bothered him for like half an hour) and lead me to character switch/delete/create menu. There, I chose to create a new character, and while the button was "pressable", it didnt produce any outcome. I tried it 2 more times (u'know, 3rd time's the charm) with no positive results. Being still new, I assumed I had to delete this character first, which I did. Unluckily, the previous issue persisted, and I was left hanging with no character and no way of creating a new one.
What should be happening instead?
I should be able to create a new character.
Please describe how to replicate the bug in as much detail as possible
Press pg up and go to character then press "make a new character"
