To: Police Department Personnel
From: Chief Of Police Michael McCarthy, Executive Division
Subject: Chief Of Police Resignation
Effective 04.23.2019 Myself Chief Of Police Michael McCarthy has announced my resignation as Chief of the department. It has been a fun time since June of 2017 when the department was established. But all good things come to an end as it was a fun run I just want to take this time to relax. I will still be in the department as a Sergeant of the Patrol Division. With this announcement I will be congratulating Administration Captain Justin Bronx on his promotion to Chief Of Police. Captain Justin Bronx is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to law enforcement and the ins and outs of policing. Justin Bronx will hold the position of Interim Chief Of Police between now and Thursday when I officially clean out my office, this will allow Justin Bronx to get into role and be ready to take on this position.
