Better video card

Hey all, I am looking to purchase a better used video card. In my specs below should have my current video card & looking to upgrade to a GTX 970. I have my eye on 2 different cards (EVGA & ASUS Strix). They're only about $20 apart in price. Can I get recommendations about this please?

Which model of the GTX 970? EVGA had a half dozen or so different kinds. Also, are they brand new or used? I'd like to factor in warranty, but I don't know if it's transferable or how long they are.

This. Several variations of RAM, fan/cooling configurations, etc.

RDK has a pretty nice deal there though...
