AK47 vs. M4 What do you choose?

AK is my favorite if you time you shots and dont spray it can be just as accuate as a m4 and its much more powerful
 
I like the AK because I fire in 2-3 round bursts which keep it pretty accurate.

M4 silenced is my favorite. AK is good when I'm close up and feel like spraying but if I'm actually trying and doing singleshot/burst fire then it's definitely silenced M4
 
Personally, I think there both wrong. M4a1 can actually one hit kill to the head, i have it on demos and I can prove it. Also the AK is very acurate if your know how to control it. Everyone plays with there crosshair at 5000, 3000, and sizes that are just plain stupid. If you use Large, medium or small you can control your crosshair so much better! How you control your spray is you have 4 lines. You get the left, bottom and right on his legs and just spray.
 
I like the M4 better just cause u can silence it but i mostly use the Aug.
 
Ak can take out a whole team on one clip. M4 can't even kill in one shot to the head. If you're an accuracy player AK is the best. M4 works good for stealth and spraying. They're both good and I only use the two (unless I can get an awp =D)
 
In 1.6 I loved the AK a lot more because of its accuracy and one shot power. The thing with 1.6 was that you could map your scroll wheel and your mouse button to the fire function so I could roll off one shot at a time through the scroll wheel. In 1.6, hands down the AK.

Now it is sortof a compromise, I have gotten more kills with the m4, it is more accurate across multiple shots. However one thing that I hate about it and the usp is more often than not I accidentally hit the silencer button mid firefight and end up losing it because I stop shooting and start screwing a silencer on or off the end of the gun.

Because of this I might map the secondary function to the keyboard or something, then I would probably say I prefer the M4 in source.
 
I love em both but M4 is a bit more on my better side for its less recoil and dead on accuracy and being able to be silenced but i like the Ak because it is loud and very accurate at a range

but if this were 1.6 i would say AK hands down but since this is source and source's hit boxes suck M4 FTW :)

yea, speaking of hitboxes has anyone done a lot of mac10ing on office? It seem s like if you just run straight at a bunch of guys spraying wildy 3 out of 10 times you just crazilly headshot all of them instantly. Its like the head hitboxes become the size of a small bus.
 
yea i shot two guys one behind the other and killed them both, it had crazy accuracy when spraying at close range
 
i like both guns, it depends on my day tho, i mite be better with one, one day and then better with the other the next. i like using the boomstick tho on office
