Hello, I don't wan't to make this into some long winded rant. I'm just looking for some answers and transparency. Lately, the dust2 server has had multiple features removed presumably to increase server performance. Within the past six months, the server has removed dead bodies lingering for the entire round, removed graffiti sprays (re-added), removed various particle effects, and as of today, they have removed all of the Source Engine props (barrels, litter, etc.) thus making the map completely static and sterile. When you shoot someone, there is no visual feedback/satisfaction as the player will vanish immediately when killed. I know that Counter Strike: Source isn't exactly played with the intention to look pretty, but the main selling point of the game was the Source physics engine. As it sits, I don't really see an incentive to continue playing on the server as the improvements in hit-registry and server stability are negligible. Is this a temporary solution to server issues and is there any intention to enable any of the removed features?
