GameMe is also showing the server with 0 players since a little before 3AM...and it's not tracking chat or stats.

Lag
I don't know what happened but the lag has been tremendous. I thought it was me because I just moved, although I'm using the same service provider. I tried other servers and it seems fine, other players have also commented about the lag. If you fix it or move the server to somewhere else I'll donate. Just how do you donate?

I wonder if it might have something to do with more international players joining the server. As BFBC2 servers become rare, there must be others like us [addicts] all over the world scrambling to find places to play.

Other players high latency affecting the overall server performance is a myth.
Paypal is the only payment option.

Oh. There y'go, I didn't know that...I was just thinkin' out loud. Seemed to make some kind of sense to me that it would.
The page itself indicates that there are other options available. The following is why I wanted to use a credit card.
"Donating directly through PayPal will not subscribe you to our Dedicated Supporter program. Please click the button above for Dedicated Supporter."

You can use a credit card, through PayPal, for dedicated supporter. This doesn't require you to add funds to a paypal account either, just the payment goes through them.
What it's saying is that you need to use that link to get DS, and sending money directly to us through paypal does not get DS, but acts as a donation.
Does that sorta make sense?
Don't know what's going on, but the ping will be good and then it gets bad and stays bad for the rest of the day, not just bad, but jerky bad. I've been signed up to this site for at least 8 or 9 years, funny it says I'm a new member, was referred by skagnatti back in the day I think. I'm kind of sad I never got to admin, but still enjoyed many years of great game play. I can't complain too much, this game outlasted many I have played, escpecially heavy metal. Keep up the great work of keeping gaming fun and fair, maybe I'll find another EGO server out there in another game.

I don't know if it's EA system-wide, but the server is providing basic weapons...and it's empty! Sigh.

There is also the issue of LAG , killroylll and I were on a different Heavy Metal server yesterday and our ping was much higher than on our server , we had absolutely no lag , my ping was 214 and killroylll's was 256 . On our server my ping is normally just over 100 and a lot of times approximately 94 . Someone move the server ?
