=(eG)='s get Tempbans

Right now especially after CSGO became free to play and hackers have multiple accounts, they are coming back on and just overall disrupting the server. The worst I've seen is a dude came on saying who wants the server to crash and actually slowed it down to the point where if an eGO wasn't on at that exact time it would've closed. This is why I am saying eG's should be able to get temp-ban permissions at most 15-30 minutes and should be held accountable to ban notes and consequences if they abuse this as well. The two main reasons being

A. Can control the server if no eGO's are on
B. Good practice for if / when they get promoted to eGO
C. Buying 5$ membership unlocks this power, and anyone who plays the server knows the vote is pretty much is gonna be in favor against the perpetrator

I fully support this and these are my points behind it:
1. a certain =(eG)= told me that when ever he is on, that there are no =(eGOs)= that are currently available, so a (user) could come on with a (racial name, say racist stuff,hacking, etc...) and all they can do is kick/mute/silence/gag, which really doesn't do a whole lot when they can keep joining the server.

2. a certain =(eG)= also told me that they aren't allowed to constantly kick/mute/silence/gag, so if implemented will allow =(eGs)= not to burn out, and have the constant stress of kicking/muting/silencing/gagging the (user)

3. As i see it Dedicated Supporters seem to have a bit more power then =(eGs)= since they can theoretically temp ban someone. It also wont devalue, since Dedicated Supporters could still voteban/kick when neither =(eGs)= or =(eGOs)= are on.

Well this idea needs to be looked into by leadership if possible or if it could be implemented soon. Due to counter strike being free-to-play and you can create a lot of accounts and just ban evade all the time. Sometimes eG will cry for help because they are kicking a player a tons of times and try to get him banned but he keeps joining back because he is not banned. Temp bans should be trained for eG's and eG's should be retrained if it gets implemented. No need to open up Ban notes but he can put a ban request on the offender. The ban should between 30 mins to an hour. I would highly recommend an hour because it would help out if a player keeps joining back and the least amount of ban time we have is 1 day, according to ban times.

I hope this get looked over as soon as possible.

I know there's a lot of questions about this since it has been a hot topic for some time, so I reached out to upper management - this is currently being discussed at a higher level. The opinions in this thread have definitely been heard. So keep your eyes peeled for some sort of decision at some point soon.

Would hazard a guess that if it were implemented we would see it in the soon coming MAUL 3.

I completely agree with the temp ban option. At worst case scenario, a messup, which happens all the time, eg, or ego. A 30 minute temp ban, to at least get the ban request in would be a nice addition to eG's tool belt, as theyre not.. very effective against some of the "veteran" ban evaders.
