Hi, y'all, it's ya boy, kuantum, coming at you with some of my personal suggestions to JB.
This is all my suggestions to help improve life at JB. Feel free to add more or have a discussion about how bad I am at JB. SwiftRage
Mic Settings
I think we can all agree that the way JB handles mic comms is generally trash. Recently, I've been seeing CT's and T's micspam to the point where it's considered Server Disruption.
I propose a simple solution: Whenever warden speaks, all other mics should be muted. CT's and T's alike.
If that's hard to put in, T's shouldn't even have the option of speaking until either the warden unmutes them or it gets to LR. Have conditional statements that if Last Guard or LR
or Special Day is active, then unmute T's. Guards also should have their mic volume at 75% at most. This way, Warden doesn't need to worry about if the T's heard the command properly (at the very least, it'll minimize the number of "repeat"s in the chat). Guards don't need to worry about accidental freekill (e.g. Warden pardons a red and a CT merks him because he didn't hear the command).
Freedays (it was coming)
Just remove it. It serves absolutely no purpose as a special day the way it is now. The ONLY good thing about freedays is that people like Shower show map secrets to help T's rebel. It's completely useless. Revert it to old freedays or just remove it.
Have a permanent definition of one step as 1 knifing distance
It's harsh to make wardens, especially one who is trying to curb a rebellion define one step. This makes them trip over the words and takes double the time to say it correctly. This is deadly to other guards because let's be honest here: no good T listens to a new Warden shouting commands. They are actively rebelling against guards and if guards are not in a good position, they die and the round is essentially over.
This also makes it where it's universal. There's no grey area in what is a one step and in a knifing distance.
Slow down on the Tips and Donations chat
Pretty self-explanatory. Having them pop up all the time is annoying in chat. Especially when your typing in chat and it pops up and makes you repeat yourself.
