we need a command for admins that can revoke all CT's at once when they aren't pursuing the round or taking warden, for today i had to revoke people multiple times cuz they can't take warden or dont want to even though they got mics

please come with thoughts we need this badly

/revoke @ alive doesn’t work? I haven’t tried so I have no clue.

A time where every single ct isn’t pursuing round seems pretty rare.

well its not that rare for today i had a map that needed to swap everyone contanstly for not purusing or delaying

The odds of you having to do that again are not that big. I won it, it was only 6 people. Just copy /swap and then paste it and put in the name, or however u do it

While that is true we’re just looking for a way to make it easier, worker smarter not harder.
Also the odds aren’t that bad especially when playing late at night

maybe have a way to batch revoke people, like specifying multiple names (you'd put the reason first so the names aren't added to that)

sm_batchrevoke Freekill beast peoples lily

something like that

yeah something like that maybe

dont think its needed as you should never really have to swap the entire ct team (rare instances)

its annoying but swapping one person at a time isnt very hard

I mean its a tiny thing, and I don't see a problem with having it but the work required to do it might not be equal to the benefits it would give. I'm not an admin so I can't say, but is it hard to just go through and /revoke those left alive? (not trying to sound rude, sincerely don't know)

Well usually the problem is either
1. there are too many and the round is soon to end, meaning the first people you swap will be swapped during one round and the others in the next round
2. People with names with special character need to be dealt with another way, taking even longer and again the round (usually) is soon to end.
Again this is just to make it easier, it isn?t needed.

Consult your Admin Trainers if you think revoking the entire CT team is ever necessary.

If it comes to the point where you need to swap the entirety of a team, is it really their fault or is it yours? If they're not pursuing warden, sure a reminder to do it might be nice but there really isn't a reason for us to be swapping an entire team. Only time I'd see it being used is for when admins want to go "all out" when they're leaving or something and disrupt a round like /kick @all did and stuff.

What about the warden who died in order for cts to not pursue warden? He will be swapped in turn to. It's so rare that swapping one by one is not a huge deal, and this would be unusable because it would swap innocents too.

I do not agree with this thread, while it would make the jobs of admins easier it could also lead to abuse, ie if someone wants to be on the CT side all they would need to do is accuse people of breaking rules on the CT side forcing the admin to use the all swap command. I feel like staff is pretty good at swapping people as needed and when needed.

Just my own opinion.

Going off of what everyone else is really saying, I would have to agree that this wouldn't really do much good and probably cause harm. As I know we're all humans so there's bound to be errors or mistakes into the mix. Having access to a command like this could cause misuse or end up ruining everyone's experience on accident. There are many things that could go wrong with this, rather than just swapping who needs to be swapped one by one.
