Tech Help Windows 7 to Windows 10

Need to upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7,to avoid trouble,looking for free and safe ways to do that.
Any good idea?

You can download an iso and format your drive for a clean install, or update from win 7 straight to the May Update. Hope that helps.

You download the ISO and use your Windows 7 Product Key to Register it . Once installed and registered use ProduKey to find the " new " Windows 10 key and save it somewhere or write it down . I save that stuff in a text file on a flash drive . You have to either burn it to DVD or use " rufus " to burn it to a Flash Drive , nice and easy to use and there is a portable version ( which is what I use ) . I is also much better to do a " clean " install . The last update I used did not allow anything USB to be connected to PC , otherwise it does not install .

Personally don't do it, windows 7 is da bomb, 10 is just lack of privacy

But I think the only way is to get a 5$ key from third party sellers since free upgrade ended a minute ago

Thank you,i did some research with Rufus,it is a free and powerful tool for making a bootable disc.I can try.....

Windows 7 worked on my computer for two years, and my new job required me to switch to Windows 10.

Bugs no, but you have applications like Cortana and windows update just doing whatever they want stealing resources I realllly recommend you stay on Windows 7 they say they're ending support but it'll be fine for another 3-4 years after no support until developers stop supporting it which won't be for another 6-15 years

95% of application/hardware supports both 10 and 7

Yes but if he need sit he needs it. Its like if the contractor of the place your living in says you need a new toilet but you say "my toilet is perfectly fine it does the exact same things a new one" then out of no where your sitting on it it breaks cause its old and theres no support anymore. Now your buying a new toilet and most likley fixing rhings in bathroom cause something else happened when toilet broke

No support means no security updates, which means you should 100% upgrade to windows 10. Not many reasons to not upgrade, other than privacy and cortana, both of which can be fixed.

Yes they also said that for Windows XP and still sent in updates months after if it "unsupported"
