The current map voting system results in too few maps being played far too many times. This is especially obvious when all three of Thorgot's maps have been grouped together as some of the top-played maps on JB at the same time, and when closequarters and rooftops dominate TTT's equivalent. I propose a map-voting system similar to a few other servers, but in order to keep the style similar to our current map system we should only do three changes to our current one.

1. Remove the nomination system, this will give ALL maps an equal chance of being voted upon by opening all of them to the vote instead of the ones people usually nominate (which are overplayed anyways, why do you even trust us nominating maps).

2. Increase the amount of time which a map cannot be voted for if it has been recently played. The purpose of this is also to prevent maps from being overplayed.

3. Increase the amount of time a vote takes, so people can truly make up their mind.

4. Add a map guide to the rules to help new players get a look at what exactly they are voting for.

Um, no the whole point of nomination is to make sure that you don't get new players confused with 20 maps they don't know, also this is unfeasible for something like minigames or surf

Its already 4 map lengths I believe which is good enough

3. Increase the amount of time a vote takes, so people can truly make up their mind.

1 minute is enough to press either 1-5 or 1 or 2 its really not something you need to really focus in, if you love Obama vote Obama you don't care about clouds, peanut, chicken, undertale, quake, etc.

4. Add a map guide to the rules to help new players get a look at what exactly they are voting for.

Again unfeasible maps are always in rotation and something like surf and minigames and even in TTT would make this hard. Just search up the map name look at the images on steam community or you know play the map
