Favorite ramen brand

Well, I just feel that Maruchan is better once you make it as noodles instead of soup. I haven't had to ramen in forever though. Also, stay away from those ramen meals with the additives like peanuts and stuff, they are trash, can't remember the name.

Always thought Maruchan was much better than Top Ramen ?\_(ツ)_/?

you guys think of instant ramen brand cause you can import it,if you come to japan there are alot of choices
i like RaiRaiTei which is soysauce taste soup and chewy noodle. if you want more taste ill go with Tenkaippin
which is thick soup based Kotteri witch it means thick the noodle you can choose the noodle softness i like it soft and chewy. btw i love salt ramen the best in the InstantRamen noodles.

Tenkaippin and kotteri ramen? Must be someone from Kyoto. Don't get me wrong, I 100% agree with you. I'll be at my ward office tomorrow and they have a Tenkaippin rather close. I haven't had ramen in ages, so maybe I'll stop by.

I'm impressed by your responses so far, everyone. To those from or who have been to Japan, what are the spiciest kind of ramen you've ever come across?

In Nagoya we have something called Taiwan Ramen. Despite it's name, it's not actually from Taiwan. While I'm sure it exists outside of Nagoya, I haven't really noticed it when traveling to other places in Japan. Something a bit more widespread would be Shinsen (how Japanese pronounce the Sichuan region of China) Ramen. For me personally, those are levels of spicy I like. I'm not really interested in torturing myself. I'd rather enjoy my food. I'm sure if you look hard enough though, there are probably places that have some really crazy spice levels for those more adventurous.

Although, I only have ramen like once every few months. Not really that big on it so that could be a contributing factor.

matrix is correct, however i may have a bias of thats the only instant noodles ive ever eaten
