I am officially quitting gaming. I have thought about this for over a month. I am starting freshman year in 2 weeks. I am going to school to be a doctor. I HAVE to focus on school. I am selling my gaming computer to get a macbook and ipad. This stuff will help me throughout school. I wish everyone in eGO good luck in life and if anyone would like me to update every few months make sure to remind me. I will hop on the forums once a month to check in.

Oh man university is hard work but life do comes first. I hope you all the best my friend and thanks for everything you have done for me. Do and make a post every month and update us. And so the journey of life begins...do your future self a favor...read a few books on how to invest and become financially independent.
Your main focus should be to lower your cost of life and increase your savings rate.
Both of which are NOT taught in school and are actually not taught anywhere in our culture.
But you will be told to buy, increase your debt, and spend spend spend every penny you make.
At which point you will become just like everyone else...poor and poor and broke with a nice car and house (that you still don't own as you pay it off), and no future...except for working till you die to pay off your stuff you don't need.
Again, do yourself a solid and read a few books about how to become financially independent. You are young...wish someone would have told me that when I was young.
