Got sent back to jail for no reason

Please describe the issue in as much detail as possible.

I was on my crim and was arrested and sent to prison. I had 3 mins of jail time, I went to do some prison work and when the prison work was at exactly 92% I was set free and the job was cancelled. I then walked around the prison for around 10 seconds before swapping to my main car dealership char. My model was still in my crim clothes so I reconnected as my main and all was well. Then after a bit I disconnected. After abour one hour I reconnect and select my crim character and was teleported to the prison work location right where I was doing the job that was cancelled. This time though, there was no notification telling me I had time left of prison however I could move around it and could swap to all the locations of the prison. After talking with Oblixion he had no trouble tping me to him and I never got dinked for "trying to escape prison"

What should be happening instead?

I should not of been put back in jail

Please describe how to replicate the bug in as much detail as possible

Think it might have to do with the job being cancelled due to the time being up.

If this text description isn't enough I also have some video evidence. But I was able to provide more detail in text than the videos I have.

I believe the cause behind this was that your 1 character was not in the games "save data" time after you were walking around. So when it went to save your location, where you logged in was the last time that it had saved that characters specific location.

While its not technically a bug, thank you for this and I will see what we can do in reducing the time it takes to save character information to hopefully further prevent this 'issue'
