Cryptex mentioned skins for guns and i downloaded some but it doesnt show up in-game, does anyone know how to make skins show?

Go to www.fpsbanana.com and look for the tutorials, you should find one on skinning which will teach you the proper installation.

Also the problem could be with the skin itself not how you installed it.

Also know that some servers block custom skins and then others even have their own your forced to use.

you need to go in your steam folder then in steamapps/(username)/counterstrikesource/csstrike. You put them all there ( lol thats what i tink lol cuz im not on my comp im on spring break at my cottage lol...

tuts are the best way to get it working
just don't post over and over what we have read before
it doesn't help us much

They made it a huge pain to install models in source. It's a long, drawn out process now that fps explains pretty well.
