Hello, I was just playing on jb_peanut when the warden performed the same cancer jump twice. The first time the warden performed the jump he was flashbanged mid-air. After missing the jump, the warden decided that he would redo the jump. I questioned this decision but the warden's plan was supported by =(eGO)= admin purducken purducken . After performing the jump a second time successfully the prisoners were forced to perform the jump themselves.

Was this the right call? I am interested to know if so because I can see this exact scenario happening again in the future.

Thank you,
Ouzi

Like I said in-game, you could argue that it's a different jump.

This is the same thing as doing the jump forwards and missing, then reattempting backwards, making it, and having it count as a demonstration. The first attempt was done blinded, he missed and then reattempted it with normal vision. These are two different jumps.

I think that this would have been the right call if a CT threw the flash bang, as it was interfering and server disruption. If a T threw it, however, it was strategical and planned so that they would not have to do the cancer jump. Either way, technically he was not allowed to redo the jump from a rule basis. Depending on the scenario, the admin may decide what is best for the flow of the server and while I can't decide on whether Ayaya made the right call or not I'm confident that he did as he is a great admin.

I wouldn't necessarily say that. The jump is the same whether he was flashbanged or not, because if you say that then that means any jump who does that while not flashbanged is KOS because they didn't do the jump as the example showed (from that logic). The analogy there is poor and doesn't defend you well, and keep in mind I'm on your side.

In the situation you described the warden would not be able to the jump again. Being flashed does not change the fact that the jump was attempted, especially if a T threw it(rebelling). Along with this though, if the T's say they could not see the jump as THEY were flashbanged, he would need to redo the jump.

Does this answer your question?
