glitch out of plane, immediately die

Please describe the issue in as much detail as possible.
This has currently happened twice, on different days, in different areas entirely. I'm in an "un-owned" plane, flying, when suddenly there'd a thud, I appear by the side of the plane (the door that you get in and out of), then die, and fall to the ground. This does not always happen when flying in these areas, or times, as I've flown about 5 times, but this is quite recent.
What should be happening instead?
I should stay in the plane, and not die.
Please describe how to replicate the bug in as much detail as possible
I'm not sure, I'm flying an npc plane, and it just happens
