Make id's into a physical object and make the possibilty to fake them. Maybe you craft them at the crafting spot? Or maybe a new job for it? This way criminals can pull over without having to hand their real id, could provide some fun rp.
Also maybe the same thing but for licence plates?
I dont know if people will like this, let me know down below and share your opinion!

Not even remotely a good idea in my opinion. It's hard enough to get a proper ID as is right now without the individual willingly giving it up in a traffic stop before the subject flees. I don't see a benefit to these existing other than criminals having no way to be tracked, no real roleplay benefit.

License plates can't really be faked, they would simply come back unregistered or to a different vehicle/with no insurance.

I can't think of an RP scenario where the use of this would be deemed fun. People will just run around all day with fake ID's committing crimes left and right. Crime RP is already weak as is.

There would need to be some way to identify these ID's if they were put in place. If the officer has an opportunity to identify the ID as fake but simply needs to conduct his due dilligence, that would make this fair and a better idea. But straight up forcing officers to accept your fake ID as real during a stop with no way to identify it as fake would just be too OP.

Ya fake id's kinda seem like something that would destroy any reason to have a real id

I mean, my thought was because of the fake id, criminials dont have to run for every traffic stop, this way they can rp with the cops instead of just run

Criminals don't have to run from every traffic stop. If they would stop driving illegally, they wouldn't get pulled over. If they stop speeding away from a drug call, they wouldn't get pulled over. The majority of traffic stops I've seen occur in the last 3 days have all been because the criminal chose to drive like a doofus instead of driving legally or trying to blend in after he committed a crime.

Zero effort is being put into blending in, everyone is just blasting through town and dealing drugs right in front of PD, hopping on their vehicle and fleeing.

I delt drugs ALL THE TIME in the MC. I RARELY got caught and only fled a stop a couple times. My secret? I was smart about how I handled my product during a 911 call, I drove like AI and I didn't deal when cops were right next to me.

Right now people get a 911 call, they just keep dealing in the same spot until the cop pulls up and they speed off.

You don't have to break the law to be pulled over after driving in the area of a drug call. you just get pulled over.

I mean, if you pull over they're just going to ask a few questions verify your information, and let you go on your way. I once went to stop someone parked on the sidewalk a few blocks away from a drug call. I had suspicion it was them simply because they were there, but the stop was simply for being parked on a sidewalk. They ran immediately. When they got caught they had drugs on them, but it never would've come up if they didnt run to begin with.

ya strolski is right, u dont need to run away from a traffic stop if u drive good

I like the concept, but I don't really see this being practical if there isn't at the very least a way an Officer could identify whether or not an ID is fake.

No need for an extra item or anything if all you need to do is "/me Hands ID with name: John Smith"
