Law Enforcement Agency Changes​

Citizens of San Andreas,

The State of San Andreas is pleased to announced that we have secured funding for the creation of a state run law enforcement agency.

In the coming weeks, the Federal Bureau of Investigation will be pulling out most of their assets in the state. However, FBI will leave a minimal amount of assets in place for support. In it's place, the San Andreas State Police (SASP) will be assuming jurisdiction of the State of San Andreas.

Members of the FBI Field Office in San Andreas have accepted positions within the SASP. The Governor has appointed Adam Savage as Colonel and Winter Night as Lieutenant Colonel. Jeffrey Harris and Andrei Igorevitch have accepted Lieutenants positions. Joshua Jefferies has accepted a Sergeants position. All other field agents have been moved to a Trooper position.

The SASP will be supporting the Los Santos County Police Department (LSCPD) as well as lead efforts in speed enforcement and drug interdiction.

I’ve got 2 main questions
1. Joining requirements. LE only? Certain amount of hours in pd before transfer? Experience in law enforcement?
2. You mentioned that certain FBI assets were staying around. What Assets would there be and will there be any remaining FBI presence in San Andreas?

1. It is LE only, this is basically transitioning the FBI to SASP. Currently, there is a 60 hour requirement. I will be working out a contract with LSCPD to allow troopers to go through the academy and the SASP will continue training afterwards.
2. That line is just in there so if we absolutely need an FBI asset for an RP scene, we'll have the option to RP as such. I don't see that happening very often.

The entire motivation for this move is that the FBI just didn't make much sense for our city. State Police allows them to be much more useful to the city.

Once everything gets situated, I can add the probationary program to State and you can gun for that

That would be nice, but it would probably only last for a little bit and I’d have to rejoin the pd and get recommended and all that if it’s like the PAP at all lol
