Hey everyone

So, TomSL has been working hard on stuff for us! Twitter has changed!


This is what you need to use it.

1. Buy a phone (can't use twitter without it)
2. Create your twitter id /twtuser (name)
3. Be aware of Inkery's post here Twitter can be tracked now by PD.

Depends on the tracking method, traditional 911 tracking uses cell towers with authorisation from companies to triangulate a position which only gives a general vicinity. Which is slightly how this system works. You would need a direct connection to the cell providers towers (very hard to do as they're checked often) or a satellite.

Do they have to use their characters firt and last name or can it be what ever they want?
If pd tracks phone, does it do it jsut for that member of law enforcement or the whole pd?

The tweet name can be whatever they want it to be, like mine currently is "The Law" lol but it also shows the server ID next to it. Location gets tracked and sent to all officers online.

It's a one time tag. The location that is given is the location of the person when the officer requests a track.

I'll probably get that finished today, WodieWo should definitely look into drafting some department regulations with Legend maybe, to prevent abuse. When Badge Numbers are done the badge number who requested it will show up in the request.
