CSGO age rating

[Belt]

Do you guys actually know what the age rating is in the US(other than 18+)

[shatteredblade89]

its rated M in the US

[You See Ivan....]

The age rating is actually really weird. There's a lot of games with more (literally any) language and more realistic violence/ blood that are only rated teen (some of the earlier Battlefield games, for instance). CS:GO is way too tame IMO to warrant an 18+ rating, especially since half of the playerbase is apparently 7 as evidenced by the eGO JB server's voice chat.

isnt M rating 17+?

[Hydra]

M = mature = 17+. CSGO is T. However, online interactions are unrated.

You forget that CS:GO is literally a terrorism simulator. Of course something with such a strong suited & heavy hitting "plot" would be rated for older audiences

Also, as rated by the ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board -> the people that rate every single game), CS:GO is considered "M -> 17+". "Online interactions not rated by the ESRB"
