Can we get this settled between everyone, some cops think its legal to do u turns at intersections unless theres a sign(its not in law book to not do it). And other cops say its illegal to do it but you can cross double yellows.
example: crossing double yellow going into legion square garage or leaving legion square.

Where I live in canada, its legal to do uturns unless there is a sign and you never cross solid lines, same with other 3 provinces. but the other half has other laws against it.

So can we get a clarification about this? people are from different areas with different laws.

The screenshot there addresses your question and has room for SOME interpretation. Essentially, U-Turns on a curve or a grade are illegal, but as long as there are no signs prohibiting you from doing so and traffic signs or signals are signaling the right of way to you then you may perform a U-Turn in an intersection so long as it is safe to do so.
