I don't care about FPS, despite getting issues from the snow.

I care about not being able to turn 10 degrees without turning an additional 720.

I personally like the snow and I'm not affected by it FPS wise. However as many others have said in this thread I've come across quite a few people that complain about how their PCs can barely run the game with the constant snow fall. The snow is affecting multiple players within the community, and is also causing some of those players to stop playing all together.

Unless we can disable the constant snow fall/snow particles as dryden dryden mentioned so everyone can enjoy their time on the server, I'm in favor of getting rid of the snow.

I am one for fairness as well. However, not everyone experiences the FPS issues and we have to keep them in mind as well as everyone else. Server side, snow is fine (it's a GTAV Native afterall). December generally is our snow month, I like snow. :)

Keeping everyone in mind (those that can run it and those that can't) I think the best solution would be to look for a different snow option that isn't so hard on the FPS and computer so everyone can enjoy the snow! I'm pretty sure there are snow maps out there and I believe that would help since the snow would just load in with the map.

Snow doesn't cause any performance issues and I would know because my pc is hot garbage and I get the same performance

Personally, I do not believe the frame drops are completely PC spec-based. There are some of us with potato PCs who are doing fine yet others who are suffering with very similar specs. This also applies to the higher-end PC folks we have. Some of them are experiencing frame drops while others do not. It may just be a GTA V issue. I did vote to keep snow however I wish to be able to play with my friends who also have sub-par PCs. Perhaps as others suggested, find a different script for the snow.

I'm going to go ahead and close the thread since we are calling out other members of the community and making them feel their vote/opinions don't matter.
