Using Mpow H1 bluetooth headphones. Had them for almost a year and a half without much issue until now. Used the auxiliary cable to connect the headphones to my phone during my flight. Once I landed, disconnected the cable, enabled the bluetooth and sound only comes in on the right ear cup. Now, the Aux cable is on the left ear cup, and I have tried it several times with and without the aux cable.
Headphones work fine with the aux cable attached. Only when it's being used with bluetooth, I only get sound on one side (right side). I've tried syncing it to different items with bluetooth and they're all consistent: one ear via Bluetooth, both cups using aux cable.
I'm thinking something is messed up with the aux port, but I do not know how to fix it or how to properly diagnose it. I can't return them as they're outside the 1 year warranty. Any suggestions or ideas how to fix them? Wondering if I need a small screwdriver and try to maybe scrape/clean the interior aux port, as maybe something is stuck, disabling the ear cup from working correctly as it thinks it's maybe in aux cable mode? Just guessing here, but anyone know a fix, I'm all ears (no puns intended).
