CS DS Hats

Hey so I know I am not the only one that enjoyed having DS hats back in the day, but would this be possible to bring back soon with maul 3?

DS hats were a thing for Jailbreak specifically, basically you can pick a mask/hat and it'll display on your character model in game.

I don't really remember the exact reason why they were removed, but would like to see them again

There were different hats, for CS, you could have hats that floated above your head or be on your player models face.

Perhaps edit that into the original post so people who don't recall them are not confused.

It was removed I believe due to causing problems (particularly with entity issues that caused crashing). We used to have a lot more perks but a lot of them, particularly cosmetic ones, contributed to server instability.

Before when the servers weren't fully updated we were able to run it because of how outdated everything was, this was easier for us to get a compatible version at the time. I know that once we start rolling out a few more changes from the tech side of things; we'll be working towards getting Dedicated Supporters more perks/features that had to be removed due to the updated of SM. Most due to the stability of the servers, Simon said so nicely, in which we're working to get it optimized also.

Hats is one of the many things we're hoping to bring back for everyone because of how people enjoyed it so much, as I know Counter-Strike Leadership really liked this. We're making efforts to push to getting hats brought back onto the server.
