I would like to suggest that we switch from the mystery project system to a public Trello Board system to allow the community to actively keep up with what's being developed, what suggestions are accepted and planned and so on and so forth.

I believe having an actively updated Trello board would help the community feel like there is active work being done to produce content. Not to say that there isn't, however an updated community is generally a happy community vs. one that is constantly bugging leadership for updates on content.

If you have a roadmap that shows what's planned, what's being developed, what's being bug repaired and so on, there's no need for people to constantly question "What's next" or "What happened with this project".

Just my two cents.

Transparency is cool and all but other than a few things here and there it's literally all cars.

We had one at one time for GTAV but it wasn't used as much. We have other means of keeping up with things.

To many things to keep up with as far as development, plus keeping things a secret is better ;)

I'm not a fan of keeping our volunteer developers tied to a line of paperwork that they'd have to report back to the community.

It's not like I'm suggesting a system of a deadline requirement here, simply a system that allows the community to see what concepts are being worked on and what concepts are being planned. I think it would be beneficial to the community to know what's currently in progress and what new ideas are upcoming in the future.

Perpaps you aren't but in doing so we'd effectively be putting more stress on the Tech members who, once again, work as volunteers to provide the community content in a timely manner. If the community sees this board growing inactive or slowing down, people'll complain. When people complain, we have to ask our volunteers to speed up and pick up the pace.

Sometimes we have slow weeks, sometimes we have dead weeks. Sometimes we have weeks where tons of things happen. I'd love a layer of transparency but I don't think a real-time progress board is the means to an end that I'd like to see.
