I never had grits before roughly 6 months ago. Fyi hominy is just a specific type of maise/corn. I used to be an avid cream of wheat / malt o meal fan.

Regarding oatmeal, I like steel cut but rolled oats are disgusting.
 
I like some cold cereal not hot cereal

Used to love Cream of Wheat but now switched to Cream of Rice.
Loooove grits.
 
Instant grits aren’t my favorite. But like some cheesy grandmas homemade grits hit differently I gotta say
 
Oatmeal is really good, thats about all the hot cereal I will ever eat though.
 
Had never tried grits or cream of wheat until very recently, it was awful I grew up with oatmeal all the way, Dinosaur oatmeal is the best kind cause I'm an adult :)
 
"Rolled or steel cut oats" Sheesh, I've never even heard such a thing! Nonetheless hot cereal, but I do admit. It was #2 on the poll, so they are legit.
 
Hash-browns. The only good hot cereal.

Although, Del-Monte makes some really good single serve Oatmeal cups...of which my current favorite is Apple Cinnamon (I just need money to buy them though)
 
I'm more of an oatmeal type of guy. Rolled/Steel cut - whatever. I haven't tried grits though and that creamy stuff just makes me /bleach
