Bad Company 2 hardcore cheater active

after vely long time, it seems like there is active cheater on EGO heavy metal server.

looks like the same guy. the same latency, U.S. IP adress. Right after BAN, he creates new account and connects.

I know, you have certain ruld according to ban players, but this guys needs more agile approach. Looking at his stats, all weapons have headshot ratios over 50% - which is clear sign of aimbot. even the best have non-sniper weapons in range 20-30%. Your web tracking stats is easy to reach by admins = they could decide faster; + check players automaticaly


..if you find more elegant soluiton (IP ban, IP range ban..), it would help server greatly

kuantum I believe Battlefield does have some level of IP banning already. They use MAUL but also have other admin systems in place than other games eGO supports (procon).

for each of above mentioned accounts was creafed ban request (only 1 is not baned yet). my intention was to raise the topic, because he is comming back = current countermeasures are not working. I. addition, active players can read this post and learn about the statistics site and metodics for cheater identification. This will lead to more succesfull ban requests (saving you time in long time)


Please feel free to remove the topic, if its not according to forum rules.

Hey XM-M8 , going to lock the thread up for now. Thanks for keeping an eye out and make sure to follow that procedure so it does go to the right place. Admins will be able to see the ban requests and spot them. Definitely drop by our Teamspeak server too if you see this guy ingame and want to get an admin in asap to check it out - there are usually some people roaming the BC2 rooms there.
