DnD Oneshot

Looking to host a DnD 5e one shot with the possibility of it becoming a longer term campaign. Session(s) will be held on Roll20 on Sunday nights. New and experienced players welcome. I will cap the group at 8 players. I plan to kick things off March 1st. The session with probably last between 4 and 6 hours. You are welcome to make your character beforehand and send it to me. We will start at level 1. No monstrous races. You can play any class. Feel free to PM me if you have questions.

I will update this thread as we get closer and as people choose classes for those wanting to play.

You can make your character beforehand and send it to me. Not sure if you will be able to transfer it to roll20 from Orcpub but quickly transposing it shouldn't be an issue.

Thanks for taking the time to arrange something like this Casc! Though I've never played DnD before, I would love to sit in for a session or more as a spectator just to watch how it all works. Sounds exciting!

Are you running core races only or can I branch out such as warforged, or Ghostwise halfing, or Tortle for examples. (I'm a huge fan of Ghostwise halfings for circle of moon druids) it allows for some interesting dialogues because you essentially become an animal that can talk in peoples minds. Although I intend to play something else.

This Sunday our brave adventurers will begin their journey in Saltmarsh, a fishing village. If you want to make your characters beforehand feel free to send them between now and Sunday.

We will start making characters on Roll20.net at 6pm Central Time on Sunday for those that choose to wait until then.

Cascsiany I would love to join, the only problem is I have ZERO experience whatsoever with DnD. I've always wanted to try it out, but the character creation sheets are so intimidating and I've tried reading up on it and watching videos but I just can never figure out how to create a character to play with.
redchance I know you've said in the past you'd be willing to help me out, if you have time before March 8th, would anyone mind spoonfeeding me through a character creation process?

I'm sorry about this, but I really wanna try DnD, been wanting to try it for a while now. If it's too much of a hassle, don't worry I understand ! Anyways, thanks ! ^~^
