I've already said my pieces, but I'm going to instead direct my input towards my thread being closed.
I understand
Drewerth when he says he doesn't want people to be segregated to only a certain chat platform and nothing else. That, I completely do understand. But personally, I feel like that worry is null and void to this conversation. We already have players and admins who don't even use the TeamSpeak or aren't in the Discord. In fact, making MORE places where we can communicate across the platforms is something I wholeheartedly believe makes sense. If we are adamant that TS is going to be eGO's way forward, so be it. That's fine by me, but at the very least, just offer channels and places where ANYONE can come in and talk. The reason I want VC's is for better overlays. TeamSpeak's Overwolf is awful and really isn't the best solution.
Also, I don't know what goes on behind those LE curtains (nor do I really want to know) but I don't really understand why it was just abruptly closed. There was multiple LE support for the suggestion and those who didn't outright support it just wanted a thorough testing of it. We couldn't, at the very least, provided a more in-depth post about it?
P.S.: I'm not flaming any LE or Drewerth, just stating my thoughts on that.
