Following a very successful Community Management team meeting we have some exciting structural changes for the Community Management team.
Board of Directors now Board Members
The previous title of "Board of Directors" has now transitioned to "Board Member" with the re-addition of a new role to the Community Management team. Members of the Board will continue to provide valuable opinions and insight on the direction of the community while not playing an integral part of the day to day operations.
Director of Operations
We are excited to announce the return of the Director of Operations role. The Director of Operations (Director) is a "Senior Community Manager" role who is responsible for driving daily results in the community. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (Adam) providing insight into the day-to-day of both the Community Management team and their various aspects of the community. They will drive communication and ensure the progress of our games or projects keeping the wheels of EdgeGamers turning effectively.
Arbiter has accepted this role and will take on this new responsibility effective immediately. We're excited to have his "can do" attitude in a pivotal role driving results.
Media's Community Manager
With Arbiter moving into the Director of Operations, it leaves the opening within Media at the Community Management role. xValence, who has been Senior Manager of Media and responsible for the long running success of the department has agreed to fill the open slot at Community Manager.
These changes and additions will be discussed more in depth at our next Community Meeting taking place on March 7.
