Hey guys,

I once met a guy online claiming to have two different crosshairs binded to two different keys....Upon further pondering I found myself fascinated with this concept of pressing a key on my keyboard while in "pit" to snipe guys planting at A with cl_crosshairscale 5000; Later rushing short A I will press a key and spray someone in the face with cl_crosshairscale 1000. If anyone knows how to do this, that would be helpful? I have already tried binding the scales to keys and this did not work....
Answers, hints, suggestions all very helpful, THANKS :)

Hmm

Put in console

bind - "cl_crosshairscale 5000"

and bind = "cl_crosshairscale 1000"

DON"T TAKE AWAY THE QUOTES OR IT WON'T WORK

This is because the valve system needs " around more then one word answers, or binds.

also if you wish to unbind a key , type unbind key

Example: unbind -
Do not put in unbindall Because unbinds everything, you won't be able to talk, type, shoot, jump, anything till you reset it.

you can change = or - for those are the keys.

You are allowed to do things like that, when I play scrims, I bind my gun to right and left side, so if I pop out a right corner, I make my gun left handed so I can have a better LoS.
I already do the crosshair thing, I binded my Tab to Crosshairscale 3500, and Caps Lock to Crosshairscale 1800.

go to the config.cfg file in your css folder.

alias chscaletoggle chscaletoggle1
alias chscaletoggle1 "cl_crosshairscale 5000; chscaletoggle chscaletoggle2"
alias chscaletoggle2 "cl_crosshairscale 1000; chscaletoggle chscaletoggle1"
bind = chscaletoggle

= can be whatever key you want.

Vouch Suicidal, just do it in your console, so easy, i have mine set to the buttons on the side of my mouse for easy thumb access :D
