I can definitely say this, the people who are going manic and overstocking cause a chain of other people having to stock because they can't get the essentials. I work at Publix and this was our toilet paper isle

My work is requiring employees who are sick to stay home. Required its employees to avoid any non-essential flights, and advised against attending crowded public events. Currently my job is unaffected.

My sister on the otherhand at her Movie Theater was forced to close down for the next month because any public event with greater than 50 people attending is required to be cancelled per the US Government Sanctions atm. Shes having to close 36 other theaters in the midwest region for approx. 30 days.

my work (movie theater) is still open, no plans to close it. we’re just told to be more cautious and clean. clean high touch areas (POS machines, soda machines, bathrooms, counter tops) , avoid contact with anyone etc. i work weekends so I’m going in tomorrow to see how much is actually affected. my school is to online school for a minimum of two weeks

Pro tip: you dont need TP, use the shower or in a pinch use a sock and throw it in the washer.Last resort go outside and use the hose. hahahahhah
