Valorant

Valorant looks very promising, and looks like it will have a big competitive scene. For those of you that don't know about Valorant, it is basically a CS:GO / Overwatch hybrid ~~ aiming like CS:GO (with ADS) and different "heroes" with different abilities like Overwatch.

It looks very competitive, and looks fun as well. I think when Valorant drops, I'm going to be spending almost all of my time grinding Valorant and trying to make something of it (Yes, cringe, but I will be trying to go semi-pro / pro.)

Was just wondering if anyone else was thinking of playing this when it came out ~ would love to play with some friendly faces to get used to the game

it looks fun but i don't know why people are saying it's a cs killer. its another hero shooter. cs isnt a hero shooter, they arent the same type of game. hero shooters are kinda boring

From the video I've watched, I can say that I dislike the visual effects so far. Maybe they'll improve them later

I think Valorant looks extremely promising. Esp with the emphasis on anti-cheating and server health. Riot already has LoL, which has millions of players daily. Cheaters (and EA's complete lack of response) is what ruined Battlefield 5 for me.
I think the combination of shooter plus abilities will be fun and offer a new experience to the fps genre. It also seems like it won't be so taxing on pc's, which should allow people potato pc's to play. The visuals may take some getting use to for those of who like more realistic environment. But I think it'll make for better gaming experience.

With League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra (my fav game right now. It's in open beta for free and I highly suggest it is you like card games) and Valorant, Riot is shaping up to have a really good year. Riot could be the new "Blizzard" since Blizzard isn't Blizzard anymore but ACTIVISION Blizzard

Closed beta starts April 7th. You have to link your Twitch account and then watch Val streams on Twitch on Aptil 7th for a chance to get into the closed beta

Instructions on how to get into closed beta here! Currently sitting here with 6 stream open haha - not sure if it increases chances of getting drops but ... no hurt in trying. Usually wake up at 5pm but woke up today at 1pm for this... in Riot we trust.

AHH!!!! I got in!! It only took 100hours of watching but I GOT IN. This is a very fast paced game!
